May you live in interesting times...

Eight days and counting until the baby is due. At this point, I've been having contractions near constantly (completely normal) but I know that the baby's not coming any time soon yet. This is a good thing, considering we're not quite ready. Still working on putting together my birthing kit, just need a few more herbs, which I'll be able to get (hopefully) later this week. 

However, just where this baby is going to be born has become unknown. We had originally been planning another homebirth, but now, we find ourselves in the midst of moving, with living arrangements a bit sketchy after Wednesday. Life is certainly following the same chaotic theme that was somehow instigated last Spring. But, there's hope for a bit of stability soon, just not yet. Energy is building, choices are being made, and the signs are there, all that's required now is a bit of patience and a heck of a lot of effort.

Given everything that's going on, moving and a wee baby, I more than likely won't be online much for the next few weeks. I will blog when I can, as well as post articles for The Tarot Witch as I can find the time for it.
