What is it with children and overeating? Doesn't seem to matter if that child is human or animal, they get something they like and they have to gorge themselves. My daughter won't stop asking for candy. The kitten won't stop eating all of his food at one time (I've taken to giving him less, but he still eats it all in one sitting and then cries for more.) The similarities between these two are always quite apparent. They're at about the same stage, developmentally, though I think the kitten may finally be taking the lead. Granted, my daughter's accomplishments are more impressive, can't really compare saying whole sentences with learning to spin around the table leg while chasing your tail. Either way, I'm actually a little glad they are both "growing-up-so-fast." This next baby is coming very soon and the more independent and cooperative everyone can be, including the cat, the easier it will be for me, which means the easier it will be for everyone else (no one likes being around a stressed out momma.)
