Handfastings
A Handfasting is the common name for a Neo-Pagan Wedding Ceremony. It may involve such traditions as a ritual binding of the hands (symbolic of the binding of the souls that is occurring with this Union,) and jumping over a broom (to symbolically sweep away all trouble from the past, allowing the couple to enter into this Union in a pure state, that nothing of their pasts should trouble them nor prevent their shared happiness.) It may also, as in the marriage ceremonies of many other faiths, and is common in our culture, include the exchange of tokens such as rings to be worn as long as the Union lasts (the form of the ring, a circle, is no coincidence; these rings are symbolic, in their exchange, of the complete giving over of oneself in Union, of the vulnerability one must risk in order to meld completely with that person and achieve bliss.)
Ceremonies may be legally binding (in the eyes of the Law that is Man) or Ceremonial/Religious only but all are binding in the Law that is Love (and in the eyes of the Divine.)

Consultations
This is nothing elaborate: it does not constitute "couple's counseling" nor me determining whether or not you "deserve" to be married. It's basically just a "meet-and-greet." We get together, get a feel for each other, talk about what you would like for your Ceremony, and what I can do to help you achieve that. Afterward, if you feel good about me leading your Ceremony (and Calling a Blessing from the Gods for your Union, in the case of a Handfasting,) then we'll go from there. If not, then I still wish you the best of luck with your Wedding. May everything go smooth.
If you so choose, a second Consultation is available. This would be to go over the Ceremony, ensure continuity, completeness, and flow. And, also, to go over any additional requirements to your Ceremony (i.e. Altar or Circle layout, etc.)
I prefer that consultations be face-to-face and that we actually meet each other at least once before the Ceremony. Of course, I am available by phone and email as often as you need, so if there are any concerns, don't hesitate to contact me.

Rehearsal (optional)
This would be conducted the week of the Ceremony. It would entail a walk through of the Ceremony (with everyone present) and full Altar setup (if applicable) to ensure appropriate length of time.
Officiating of Ceremony
This includes leading the Ceremony, and in the case of a Handfasting, Calling a Blessing from the Gods for your Union: your standard religious service. For legal bindings, we will then sign the Marriage License and I will handle the filing.
Pricing
Pricing is very flexible: no one will be turned away for inability to pay, seriously. I've been there, I understand. Sometimes we just can't come up with the monetary funds in exchange for services that we feel are necessary. Below is a general pricing guide. If you can't come up with that but would still like my services, let me know. We'll work something out.

A Note on the Marriage License
It is the couple's responsibility to apply for the marriage license as you need to show proof of id, residence, and pay an application fee of $75 (cash only) and can only be applied for at the County Clerk's office. There is a 5 full day waiting period before the Marriage License is then issued; it must be picked up in person from the County Clerk. This is also the couple's responsibility. However, once the Marriage License has been signed by the couple, two competent witnesses, and the officiant, it is then the officiant's responsibility to file it within 3 days.
A copy of the marriage license can then be purchased from the County Clerk by the couple, if they wish. There is, of course, a fee for this as well.
Also:
Wisconsin residents must acquire the marriage license from the county in which they have lived for the last 30 days (prior to the day they apply,) but they can then be married in any county in Wisconsin.
Non-Wisconsin residents getting married in Wisconsin must acquire the marriage license from the county in which they will be married. Also, the person that is officiating their ceremony, if a non-resident, must have a letter-in-good-standing from any active Wisconsin clergy on that clergy's church/organization letterhead.
